Ce roman a obtenu le prix Primavera 2005 en Espagne.

Worlds which are unaware of, parallel lives which would have never cross and will tragically intermingle.

This novel obtained the 2005 Primavera price in Spain.

C'est une autre page de la chanson française qui est en train de se tourner car après le décès du chanteur Carlos en janvier on a appris la disparition d'Henri Salvador à l'âge de 90 ans le 13 février d'une rupture d'anévrisme chez lui à Paris.
Né à Cayenne en Guyane et arrivé en France vers l'âge de 12 ans il en était le doyen alors même que le 21 décembre dernier il tirait sa "révérence" (comme son dernier album) sur la scène du Palais des Congrès de Paris sur une immense carrière en France mais aussi à l'étranger (Amérique du Sud, Caraïbes, Asie etc...).
Il nous restera notamment son rire légendaire et son éternelle gaïté qu'il répandait partout où il allait.
Je lui rends donc un petit hommage en faisant cet article pour tout ce qu'il a apporté à la chanson.
Parmi tous ses plus grands succès je citerai pour ma part "Syracuse", "Le travail c'est la santé", "Faut rigoler", "Jardin d'hiver", "Jazz Méditerranée" ou encore "Dans mon île".

Comme il disait il a presque "tout fait dans son métier" d'artiste en faisant de la chanson drôle et burlesque, populaire, du rock, de la comédie mais ses domaines de prédilection furent le jazz et la bossa nova qu'il a contribué à faire découvrir.
Il a aussi été auteur-compositeur en plus d'interprète.

Il a collaboré et côtoyé bon nombre d'artistes ou écrivains prestigieux tels que Boris Vian, Duke Ellington, Sacha Distel, Gilberto Gil ou plus récemment Keren Ann et Benjamin Biolay pour son grand retour en l'an 2000 avec l'album "Chambre avec vue" qui a connu un très grand succès.

Il ne mâchait pas ses mots et disait presque toujours ce qu'il pensait (exemple : il n'aimait pas du tout la fameuse chanson "Ne me quitte pas" de Jacques Brel pourtant plébiscitée par une majorité de personnes)

Ses principales récompenses sont :
-Victoire d’honneur de la musique en 1998
-Il a été fait commandeur de la Légion d'honneur, de l’Ordre national du Mérite et de l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres et reçut la médaille d’or de l’Académie française en 2001.
-Victoire d’honneur de la musique en 1998
-Victoire de la musique 2001 du groupe ou artiste interprète masculin de l’année et Victoire de la musique de la chanson de l’année Jardin d’hiver.
-Victoire du meilleur spectacle en 2002

C'est donc un très grand artiste qui vient de nous quitter et ses principales chansons vont rester encore pour un bon moment.

It's another page of the French song which is turning after the death of the French singer Carlos in January, we have learned disappearance from Henri Salvador at 90 years old on February 13 of an aneurysmal rupture at his place in Paris.

Among all his greater successes I will quote for my part "Syracuse", "Le travail c'est la santé" (in English : "work it's health"), "Faut rigoler" (in English : "It's necessary to laugh"), "Jardin d'hiver" (in English : "Wintergarden"), "Jazz Méditérranée" (in English : "Mediterranean Jazz") or "Dans mon île" (in English :"In my island").

As he said he almost "did everything in his trade" of song artist by making funny and burlesque songs, popular, rock'n'roll, comedy but its fields of predilection was jazz and bossa nova that he contributed to make discover.
He was also a composer-songwriter in more of interpreter.

He collaborated and meeted considerable prestigious artists or writers such as Boris Vian, Duke Ellington, Sacha Distel, Gilberto Gil or more recently Keren Ann and Benjamin Biolay for his great come back in year 2000 with the album "Chambre avec vue" (in English : "Room with sight") which was a very great success.

He didn't chew his words and almost always said what he thought (example : he didn't like at all the famous song from Jacques Brel "Ne me quitte pas" (in English : "don't leave me") however voted by plebiscite by a people majority)

Its principal rewards are :
- French music Victoire (name of French song rewards) of honor in 1998.
- It was made commander of the honor Legion and the National order of Merit of Arts and Letters and accepted the gold medal of the French Academy in 2001.
- French music Victoire 2001 for the group or artist interprets male of the year and French music Victoire for the song of the year "Jardin d'hiver" (so in English : "Wintergarden").
- French Victoire of the best spectacle in 2002.

It's such a very big French song artist who has just left us and its main famous songs will still remain for a long moment.

Nouvelle-Zélande / France : 18 - 20

Quel bonheur ! Désolé j'ai fait cet article avec un peu de retard par manque de temps mais je tenais à féliciter le XV de France de rugby pour leur nouvel exploit face aux terribles "All Blacks". Vous ne pouvez pas imaginer quelle a été ma joie au coup de sifflet final comme des millions de français et supporteurs.
Bien entendu j'ai une pensée pour tous les néo-zélandais et leurs supporteurs car ça doit être dur à encaisser mais ils auront la prochaine Coupe du monde chez eux et nul doute qu'ils seront plus que jamais présents et redoutables !
J'ai aimé l'attitude française face au "Haka kamaté" car ils étaient tous concentrés. La 1ère mi-temps ne fut pas bonne pour les Bleus menés 13-3.
Je me suis dit que ça allait être très difficile à remonter mais j'y croyais car impossible n'est pas français. En effet la 2ème période a été presque l'inverse de la 1ère et les Bleus ont infligé un 17-5 aux Blacks en seconde mi-temps. Bien sûr il y avait un très léger en-avant français sur le 2ème essai mais ça fait partie du jeu et l'arbitre ne l'a pas vu donc tant mieux pour nous. D'autre part la France a été très disciplinée et a surtout très bien défendu en toute fin de match.
Bravo donc à ce XV de France qui monte en puissance !! Plus que 2 matchs pour devenir enfin champion du monde de rugby à XV.
Il faut que l'équipe se reconcentre maintenant pour affronter l'Angleterre en 1/2 finale au Stade de France samedi soir à 21h heure française.
Allez les Bleus !!!

What a happiness ! Sorry I made this article with a little delay for lack of time but I wanted a point of congratulating the XV on France of Rugby for their new exploit against terrible "All Blacks". You can't imagine which was my joy after the final whistle like million French and supporters.
Of course I have a thought for all the New Zealanders and their supporters because that must be hard to accept but they will have the next World cup in 2011 in their country and no doubt that they will be more than ever present, strong and frightening !
I liked French attitude facing the "kamaté Haka" because they all were concentrated. The 1st half wan't good for "Blues" because of 13-3. I said myself that that it was going to be very difficult to go up but I believed in it because impossible is not French. Indeed the 2nd period was almost the reverse of 1st and the Blue ones inflicted a 17-5 to the Blacks in second half. Of course there was a very light French forward pass on the 2nd try but that made part of the game and the referee didn't see it so it was good for us. In addition France was very disciplined and especially has defended very well in all end of match.
So congratulations to this French team which goes up in power
